August 11 marks the Tenth Anniversary of Casey at the Bat. Big thank yous to everyone who’s read, commented, shared, picked up a book, or just passed by. It’s been a fun (if bumpy) ride, and I’m looking forward to more. Where does the time go?
Hi Bob,
I just discovered your comic this afternoon and I ended up binge reading All the chapters that I could find in the archives. You are incredibly talented and I love how you included current event in your strip. However being a non-sports fan and nearly 60 years old there are some things I just didn’t understand (Eurovision???). Fortunately I am tech-savvy enough to ask Google.
Some of your panels made me laugh out loud, The Charlie Brown reference when Casey got hit by the line drive on the pitcher’s mound, very, very funny.
Young man, you have found your calling and I hope you keep producing this strip until you are at least twice my age, or even older. Thanks again for putting a smile on my face this Sunday afternoon, and keeping my interest piqued until evening.
Hi Nick – What a nice message. Thank you. It’s much appreciated. The Peanuts homage is one of my favorites too. Stay tuned for new comics. They’re coming soon…ish.

Casey at the Bat is a slice of life romantic comedy that follows the life of Casey Wilkes, a young gay man, building a new life for himself after the end of his first serious relationship. With the help of his friends and the local gay softball league, Casey valiantly stumbles his way through life, love, and sports!
