Surprise! It took 10 months, but we finally have Casey at the Bat #300. As some of you may recall, I spent a bit of time unemployed during the Covid crisis, eventually landing a new job earlier this year. Dedicating my attention to the new job took time away from comic work, and three months became five, then eight... you get the picture.

I will admit, there were times when I doubted that I would get back to the comic, perhaps it had run its course, and it was time to move on to something new. The return to a 'normal' life routine though, had me thinking of new stories and ideas to wrap up some of the ongoing ones. I missed my guys and wanted to get back to them. Hopefully folks will continue to come along for the ride.

In other notes: Yes, the pops in panel six are from my personal collection. It turned out to be a bigger chore than I'd anticipated, but I like the result.
