catb 130: (Beware) Boyfriend

The Olympics are over and Russia is invading a neighboring country. It feels like 1980 all over again! Thanks to everyone for sticking with us through this story. I really appreciate all the feedback I've received, both on and offline. It means a lot to me that folks care so much about the characters.

    I just can’t bring myself to like Tom, no matter what. Not because he’s a supposed antagonist, he just comes off as a slimeball.

      And this is the watered down, softer version of Tom! In the original drafts of what would become CATB the Tom character was more central, and much more of an ass.

    After much consideration… I do believe Wally’s hair is a shade or two lighter in this strip. Must be all the sun.

      If you’re using the recent comics as a guide, you are correct. Remember tho, those comics were set at a dark room at night. This is Wally’s normal hair color.
