catb 226: Colour

Every artist has their kryptonite. I have three: crowd scenes, backgrounds and perspective. This comic has them all. I continue to struggle in my efforts to ramp up the posting schedule. Complicated comics like this one don't help. I learned a lot though, and I think the end product looks pretty good. I still have to shorten the process.

  1. keep rockin’ this comic…slow process or fast process, you are an awesome creator, Bob 🙂

    1. Thanks Tame!

  2. Ahh yes, doorman, waiter, pilot time estimation equation. Each estimated minute = 5 minutes in actual time. I say go back to the Metro!

  3. Looks great! I love the depth of the first panel, the way you positioned the stools really helped the eye formulate the shape of the room. And I love the crowd in the queue at the bottom! Lots of variation, this is a great page. Love the humour too but that goes without saying! Keep it up! Peace and Love!

    1. Thanks for the kind words! This page was a lot of work, but I’m happy with the end result (even if it took way too long).
