Hiya folks - Strange times, eh? Hopefully everyone is doing their part to stay safe and help prevent the spread of the Covid-19. With any (or a lot of) luck, we will all get thru this soon. I had considered whether I would reflect our new reality on Casey, as I have in the past with elections, sporting events, Hurricane Sandy, and such. Ultimately, I decided against it. I like to think folks read Casey for a quick chuckle, and I don't want to add to people's anxiety. Take care of yourselves, look out for your loved ones... and wash your hands. Bob

    It’s always nice to see a story reflect the real world to see how characters you admire react to it. But on the other side its nice to not see the current situation of the real world in the story because it’s too much. You have to get away from the real world for awhile if only to unwind. And this is one of those stories that helps me do that. Thank you for such a great story. Be safe.

    I agree with you and Brannen Bob! Anymore, I tend not to watch the news on television, listen to the radio, or read the newspapers due to all its negativity. I have in the past, and with always read the comics first!
