Back in the day, while working on an early version of what would become Casey At The Bat, the focus of the comic wasn't sports, it was office life. Casey was still gay, but his name was Sam, and we followed his adventures as an office drone in the Big City. When I launched the current version of Casey I intended to include some office stories, but that never really happened. I think we've only seen Casey at work twice. I had fun putting this week's comic together and recapturing some of the feeling of that early work.
