A while back I was at PNC Park in Pittsburgh as part of a two week road trip to ballparks across the midwest. I bought myself a brand new New Era Yankees hat for the trip (at a hefty price). Upon arriving at PNC, the ticket attendants refused to let me in the park because I was wearing a Yankees hat! Keep in mind, the Pirates were playing the Houston Astros, not the Yankees. That didn't matter to the folks at PNC. After trying every gate with no success I finally surrendered and bought a Pittsburgh Pirates cap at the ballpark shop (again, at a hefty price). I got into the park, went to my seat (right behind the dugout!) and placed my Yankees hat under my seat. After the game I walked back to my hotel, In the elevator I saw my reflection in a mirror. It was at that moment that I remembered I was wearing a Pirates hat... and had left my pricey Yankees hat under my seat! Doah! Sporting my Pirates hat at US Cellular Field in Chicago.           Are you kidding? I love musical theatre! I even saw Cheyenne Jackson in Xanadu a few years back. I just didn’t recognize the pic. That & I was partial to the old avatar.

    I’ll be at PNC Park in a couple weeks to see Pirates/Cards. Looking forward to it on my East Coast trip. It’s not my Cubs, but I am such a fan of baseball I just want to see stadiums. And the way the standings are, this should be a great game.
