catb 195: Bottom Of The Ninth

Well, that World Series could have gone better. When I planned this comic there was still a chance the Mets would win. It was a very odd finishing it while watching them lose the series. It was a disappointing end to a storybook season, but it was fun while it lasted. Plenty of things to look forward to in the future!

  1. *hugs* The Mets are a good team, and have a great future.

  2. Hi! I just started reading this comic from the beginning today. I have to admit, besides the carefully placed inserts, such as the Christmas anniversary special, all of which I thoroughly enjoyed, this is one of the most well thought out, best written comics I have seen. Additionally, starting and finishing the comic in one day really gave me the chance to see your artistic style grow, especially with the shading and coloring of the characters (and being able to do backgrounds :P). Lastly, it was lovely to read about your personal journey with your conventions and your travels and your marriage(!). Congratulations!!! On everything.

    1. Thanks for the kind words. They’re much appreciated. You should write reviews! 😉

  3. I’m a die hard Cubs fan. That’s some real pain.

  4. Careful, Pete. You only get three strikes. I admit, I ship Casey-Joey, but Pete is not a bad guy.
