Happy Eurovision 2018! It's been a pretty dramatic contest so far, with good songs and mainstay countries missing the Final. The absence of large screens brings a more intimate feel to the performances, and the four Portuguese hosts are fabulous! I admit I was pulling for the Belgium entry, Sennek's 'A Matter of Time' to win, but she didn't even make it out of the First Semifinal. Fortunately, on elf my other favorites, the Czech Republic's 'Lie To Me' by Miklos Josef has made it thru to the Final, and stands a solid shot at the title. On another note, I know it may seem odd to run this comic after all the downtime we've had over the last several months. I did give some thought about skipping it this year, but the Eurovision (and Christmas) comics have become traditions, and I like to think traditions are important. Our current chapter, Chicago, returns next week.
