catb 82: One Shirt Two Shirt Red Shirt Blue Shirt

Casey and the guys did pretty well with their NCAA March Madness brackets, at least in the first round. Poor Joey took a pounding, but everyone lived to see their final four match-ups advance. Gonzaga's loss in the second round knocked Casey and Dougie out, but as of this post George and Spencer are still alive. Here's the boys' picks to win it all: George/Spence: Syracuse, Joey: Indiana, Dougie: Kansas, and poor Casey had Gonzaga. At least baseball is just around the corner!

  1. Definitely the red shirt.
Is it just me, or does Casey have a perennial lack of confidence?

    1. Well…. as originally planned, Casey was supposed to grow stronger and more confident through his various sports & related exploits. Then he met these guys named Joey & Russ which exposed some unresolved issues… which Casey is trying to overcome. Unfortunately, the pace moves rather slowly with a weekly release schedule.

      1. Ah, yes, comic book time… I totally get that. But poor Casey’s lack of confidence extends seven years ago to his college days… Are you certain you didn’t pattern Casey on me?

        1. Then again, Casey is only in college here. Maybe confidence is the wrong wording. Maybe uncertainty is a better.

        2. I don’t know. Do you have a big , blonde, musclely sidekick? If so, can i meet him? 😉

  2. You’ll need to update the cast list soon.

    1. If I take the time to update the cast page where will I find the time to resolve Casey’s confidence issues? Ok, ok.. I’ll get right on it.

  3. Huge praise. Nice attention to detail. I am a basketball fan, you did this comic right having the Kobe jersey number of 8, not 24 for this point in time.

    1. Thanks! You have no idea how much I stressed over those shirts.

  4. Don’t worry, panel 2 Casey, it gets better.
